One common mistake people make when using their machines is allowing the dirty water bucket to overflow. When refilling the clean water, don't forget to empty the dirty water bucket. If the water is allowed to overflow it can be sucked into the vacuum motor via the air filter which can cause great damage to the machine.
Your Guide to Setting Up the Aqua Pro Vac Extractor
BEST PRACTICES TO MAINTAIN YOUR MACHINE'S PERFORMANCE
1. Empty Dirty Water Bucket!
2. Do Not Use Hot Water!
Do NOT use very hot or boiling water. Doing so can cause lasting damage to the machine, including melting the water hose and housing. Use cold to lukewarm water to ensure there is no issue.
3. Avoid Direct Detergent Use
Maximize the performance of your Aqua Pro Vac by avoiding the direct use of detergents in the machine. It is designed to work efficiently without the need for added chemicals, ensuring a longer lifespan and optimal functionality. Remember, no defoamer is needed.
4. Do Pre-Treatment Before Extraction!
Use a mixture of water and detergent in a spray bottle, spray the area that needs to be cleaned. Leave the water and detergent mixture to sit on the carpet/upholstery for 1-2 minutes. Agitate the mixture with a hand brush or round drill bit brush. Using the extractor, spray water and then extract.
